So the 21/22 financial year has come to a close and we can now bring you our 12th edition of FUNDED for June 2022 ... we keep track of Startup Funding in Australia so you don't have to. Our latest month of data capture is also a major milestone for Techboard closing off our first 5 years of funding data covering the financial years FY2018 through to FY2022. All four of our primary datasets have also passed milestones with over 5000 each of funding events, published company profiles, company founders of funded companies, and now 2000 funders/investors.
This month we added 120 new funding events, 43 new companies, 37 new investors and 87 new company founders.
Paying subscribers can use our Funding Event Search Engine to access all of our startup and tech funding data by ten variables.
This month we have captured a total of 120 funding events, 90 of which are completed, with another 30 open or future rounds.
June's overall funding levels haven't moved significantly from May's with Private/VC funding down slightly from the $485m captured in May to $473m from 52 deals. Across all funding types we captured $740m from 87 funding events.
We have decided not to undertake much analysis of our monthly capture in this edition of FUNDED as we are now gearing up to produce our Annual Funding Report for FY22, incorporating an in-depth analysis of funding secured by female founders following up our Female Founder Funding Report for FY2018 - FY2021. We will have a number of big announcements to make about our Reports over the coming weeks... so stay tuned.
Find out more about FUNDED. While the list below is lengthy it is far from the complete list of what we capture. For access to our full data capture, sorted, catalogued and full searchable, inquire about a data subscription.
