Funding Data Sept Q 2019 Now Available

This represented a drop of 11% from the $1.086b captured for the same period in 2018 from 198 funding events for 188 companies. The leading state was Victoria with 45.7% by value to New South Wales’ 42.8% by value. NSW however had 92 funding events to Victoria’s 72 funding events. As usual Fintech was the dominating sector with 38.1% of all funding, with Transport & logistics at 7.9%, Health and Biotech at 7.3% and People Solutions at 6.6%.  Private funding including venture capital accounted for almost half of all funding at $49.5%.
