Techboard is pleased to announce the release of its first data product, a quarterly funding report detailing funding deals involving Western Australian startups and tech companies over the 3 months to end December 2016.
Techboard's Chief Data Nerd Rafael Kimberley-Bowen said:
"As part of the regular startup ranking that Techboard has been compiling for over a year now, we have collected a comprehensive set of data on Western Australian startups and tech companies, including funding rounds, strategic partnerships, staff and board changes, and other such milestones. We also track a variety of metrics on all companies listed on Techboard including web and social media stats.
"Recently we've made a strategic decision to start sharing some of this information publicly. For example, we're now publishing a compilation of each company's historical press coverage on their publicly-viewable company profile on Techboard. We're also publishing their ranking performance on the company profiles."
"With the Techboard Funding Report we are pleased to be releasing one of our very first data products. It will be interesting to validate whether there is a paying audience for the extensive and granular information we have compiled.
