Techboard RSM Fintech Roundtable in Association with Intersekt and Fintech Australia

EVENT ENDED Techboard is very pleased to announce its latest Techboard Roundtable event in Melbourne in association with Fintech Australia and the Intersekt Festival in Melbourne on on 18 October 2019. THE VIDEO OF THE EVENT IS NOW AVAILABLE.

We are very pleased to be able to announce the fourth and latest in the Techboard series of Roundtable events in conjunction with RSM. Our latest Roundtable is also in partnership with Fintech Australia and their Intersekt Fintech Festival in Melbourne, October 2019 and will be focused on the future of funding for Australian Fintechs.

Techboard Roundtables are a new twist on a panel session where we have panelists around a table having a facilitated conversation on a topic related to startup and tech funding, informed by Techboard’s data all in front of a live audience.

The event will also feature the launch of the second annual Techboard Startup and Young Tech Company Funding Report for FY 18/19.

Techboard co-founder Peter van Bruchem explained: “Our first Annual Funding report highlighted the prominence of Fintechs in the Australian startup and tech scene and our 18/19 report to be released at this event will show just how much the sector has grown and continues to dominate”.

Tony Fulton from RSM is looking forward to the event in Melbourne, “RSM previously participated in the Perth and Sydney Techboard events. I am delighted to announce that RSM will be supporting the upcoming event on 18 October in Melbourne. The speaker panel will provide valuable insight into trends and issues, supported by data from Techboard’s Funding Reports.”

The slightly revised panel for the event will include:

The conversation will be facilitated by Lauren Capelin, Director of Fintech Australia and Partner at Reinventure Group, itself a dominant fintech funder. The discussion on the day will cover issues and trends identified in Techboard’s latest funding report and will help founders get insights into fintech funding trends and how this might impact on their future funding plans.
