Listed healthtech companies are the theme of the fortnight, with ResApp Health, Nuheara and Avita Medical all featuring in Techboard's top 5 - and a further two unlisted healthtechs (Health Engine and Circadyn) also featuring in the top 10.

Our top trending startup this fortnight is healthtech ResApp Health. The company saw strong gains in its share price following the latest clinical data supporting the accuracy of the app in diagnosing respiratory disease. The company also appointed Brian Leedman (who is also on Techboard's Panel of Experts) as director.

Here is a taster of the top 100 in Techboard's latest startup ranking for the period ending 2 March 2016.

Nuheara is second on our list, with local and national news coverage following its first day of trading on the ASX. Its $3.5 million capital raise was oversubscribed and saw its shares double on the first day of trading. The company's intelligent hearing device IQbuds was tested by Minister for Trade and Investment Steven Ciobo at the opening of Australian Landing Pad in San Francisco.

Rounding out the leading peleton is cycling startup Cycliq, with very strong social media traction, improvements in website ranking and some media coverage. Over the past couple of weeks Cycliq scored more retweets and likes of its posts on Twitter than any other Perth startup or tech company, as well as 30-40% increases in its website's global rank, time on site and page views. Looking forward to more exciting developments, CEO Andrew Hagen told Techboard:

"We are talking with some pro cycling teams to become their camera sponsor, with a view to being on bikes during events such as the Tour de France."

Other healthtechs in the top 10 were Avita Medical which launched two new products in Europe, Circadyn which was announced as one of Founder Institute's top performing graduates of 2015 and HealthEngine which announced its partnership with HealthCareLink.
