The programs, created by the Stanford Patient Education Research Center, help persons learn how to self-manage their quality of life with efficacy. The programs are based on Dr. Albert Bandura's Social Learning principles, and have been widely implemented since 1979 by the pioneer and world leader Dr. Kate Lorig. Each year, in more than 25 countries, more than 150.000 participants learn how to make better choices to live better. Hundreds of papers have demonstrated is effectiveness thru evidence.
