I’m a globally recognized business leader and motivational speaker, and I’ve had the honor of being the Emmy Award-winning executive producer and lead Shark on Shark Tank in the U.S. for the past 16 years. I’ve also appeared on Dragon’s Den in Canada and currently on Shark Tank Australia. As an author, I’ve published three books, with two making the New York Times bestseller list simultaneously.
I came to Canada as a poor immigrant when my parents left communist Yugoslavia for a better life. With just one suitcase, we settled in Toronto, and now I spend my time between homes in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. I’m married to Kym Johnson, a world-renowned ballroom dancer and former Dancing with the Stars champion.
Professionally, I’m known as one of the top cybersecurity experts in the world, advising governments and large enterprises for over 35 years. I’ve founded and built multiple companies in the cybersecurity space, including my most recent, which grew from 2 employees to nearly 1,000 and generated over a billion dollars of value before I sold it to private equity. Today, I continue to invest in and mentor startups and established companies in the cybersecurity field.
Outside of business, I’m an avid runner, former high-level race car driver, and collector of exotic cars. My passion is for my family, building businesses, mentoring others, and helping people unlock their best performance in life and business.
