He is passionate about everything online and particularly knowledgeable in all areas marketing with a special interest in performance marketing and the lean-startup methodology.
Born in Munich, Germany, he played professional basketball while finishing his master in Economics before moving to Australia where he received a master of Information Technology from Macquarie University. He founded Spreets in 2011 and grew it to be Australia's leading Group Buying company with over 1.5 million members and over 100 employee in less than 12 months, exiting the company successfully to Yahoo7! for $40 million just 10 months after it was founded.
Recently, Justus has been working as the CMO for ASX listed company Mint Payments, a mobile payments company that provides white label solutions for companies such as MYOB and Bank of New Zealand.
Justus is also an active investor and advisor to over 10 startups in Australia and overseas. He has been a member and mentor of Sydney's Founder Institute where he was recently voted mentor of the year.
Currently Justus has founded a new business venture in the real estate sector working on revolutionising the real estate experience, partnering with Ray White and others.
