I'm an entrepreneur and early stage technology investor who loves building innovative businesses that solve major global problems. I tend to focus on healthcare and financial wellness with a bias to using data to improve peoples lives. I'm proud to have received recognition from some respected organisations. I've been named Entrepreneur of the Year in the UK by Ernst & Young, the Guardian, TechCrunch and the European Tech Tour Association amongst others. I've backed, helped and supported the founders of some already iconic startups like Transferwise, CityMapper, Habito, Cleo, K Health and Tide from their earliest days - and am working with the next generation of great technology founders on realising their dreams. Prior to this, I founded Wonga, one of the worlds earliest scale fintech startups. It provided over 10 million small, short-term loans to both individuals and small businesses based on the world's first fully automated, real-time risk and decision system. Before that, I was founder and CEO of Supply Chain Connect Ltd. With offices in the UK and US, the company serviced over 250 blue chip industrial customers and was acquired by ChemConnect in 2005.
