Funder Overview:

David Ioannidis is the founder of Northcliffe Advisory, an independent capital markets and macro advisory practice working directly with developers/builders, real estate professionals, business owners and investors. Northcliffe brings the analytical rigour of an institutional capital markets approach to the decisions that shape business performance - how to price, when to raise, whether to hedge, where to deploy, and how to read the cycle - without the layers typical of large consulting firms.

Alongside Northcliffe, David is the Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Rolling Capital Management where he trades fixed income markets, manages a portfolio of early-stage unlisted companies, and oversees allocations across mainstream asset classes. Through RCM he also works closely with founders of early-stage ventures across a range of sectors, providing hands-on guidance on capital, growth, and scaling.

David's career spans more than three decades in financial markets. He began in investment banking, trading fixed income at Citigroup before joining JP Morgan, where he spent over a decade in senior roles - including leading the Fixed Income Trading division in Australia and serving on both the Global Rates Management Committee and the Local Management Committee.

Beyond his in-house roles, David has contributed to the broader financial services industry as a member of the Australian Financial Markets Association Governance Committee, and as a Director - and later Chairman - of Yieldbroker (now Tradeweb Australia), where he helped shape the firm's strategic direction.

He combines deep markets experience with a direct, practical approach to advising the people whose decisions drive business outcomes.
