Triphasic Cardiac Pump

Triphasic is an enthusiastic team of professionals dedicated to the development of solutions that assist medical professionals in their quest to provide best practice care and improve patient outcomes.

Currently our focus is on the TriPhasic Cardiac Pump as a solution for open heart surgery, (e.g. cardiopulmonary bypass procedures).
The pump is driven by an algorithm which mimics the patient's specific physiological blood flow and provides optimum microcirculation.
The patient's specific blood flow profile is measured by taking a ultrasound scan of the patient's blood flow, digitizes it, and uploads the data to the pump's control unit. The pump utilises an ECG signal to synchronise with the cardiovascular autoregulation system which controls contraction and dilation of blood vessels to optimize efficiency in blood flow. In addition it provides sufficient Surplus Hemodynamic Energy (SHE), a surrogate measure of micro circulation, so that all vital organs receive adequate oxygen and nutrients during surgery.
