Restore Subsea is a subsea decommissioning technology company redefining how offshore infrastructure is safely removed, managed, and repurposed. Founded to address fundamental inefficiencies in conventional approaches, the company focuses on the safe extraction of subsea assets (such as pipelines) and associated biohazards while enabling circularity through recycling and reuse.

Our flagship concept, X-Lay, is a reverse S-Lay pipeline retrieval system designed to significantly increase productivity in subsea pipeline removal. By enabling the use of lower-cost vessels with longer deck capacities, X-Lay® has the potential to reduce pipeline removal costs by more than 50% compared with conventional methods while maintaining safe and controlled operations.
