MAXM Skate was founded by local South Australian orthopaedic surgeon Dr Matthew Liptak more than 10 years ago to revolutionise knee surgery rehabilitation.

Our smart Skate is a unique, innovative rehabilitation device with global TGA, FDA and CE mark regulatory listings that is worn on the injured leg with an integrated sensor and patient App. The device and digital program ensures faster recovery from surgery through better range of motion, enhanced patient compliance and collaborative care with remote monitoring capabilities. This has been evidenced by clinical trials in partnership with Flinders University in Adelaide, showing patients who use MAXM Skate for their knee surgery recovery achieve better range-of-motion more quickly, reduced length of stay in hospital, as well as 2 x better mental health compared to standard care.

The MAXM Skate solution has made a global impact with sales into dozens of countries and partnerships with hospitals, rehab clinics and a global distribution network.
