Granddad Jack’s Craft Distillery

Opening the very first craft distillery on the Gold Coast in August 2018, we have quickly become one of Australia’s most awarded & recommended artisan producers and have been recently nominated for the prestigious IWSC International Gin Producer of the Year Award 2022.

Now with two established distilleries located in Queensland & international expansion into New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and North America, our Australian handcrafted spirits are being enjoyed around the world.

Founded by the father and son team, David & Luke Ridden, the distillery came about from a trip to the USA, where the pair discovered and enjoyed community-centric bars that cultivated a sense of community, uniqueness and belonging. With a passion for craft spirits, the trip cemented an idea we had long had of launching a neighbourhood-based distillery in honour of our Granddad Jack, a man known for his resilience, loyal friendship, integrity, and hard work.

Granddad Jack's Craft Distillery is inspired by his story and driven by the same old-fashioned values and ethos he went through life with.

Our well-versed product range consists of three award-winning gins, a vodka and a coffee liqueur, with a variety of single-barrel whiskey. To date, we've won over 60 international awards for our spirits.
