Cedanet Pty Ltd was formed in 2003 with the aim of developing and licensing a database technology called CEDA originally written by David Barrett-Lennard.
CEDA uses a log structured store to achieve state of the art I/O performance while providing atomicity, crash recovery, hot standby and incremental backup. CEDA is the only DBMS in the world using Operational Transformation for replication, synchronisation, branching and merging of databases.
