Bertonni creates products that empower. Our mission is to create meaningful employment for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, through the design and manufacture of timeless and elegant porcelain products.

Employment has been identified as a crucial factor in ending the cycle of homelessness. As well as financial independence, meaningful employment provides positive social interactions, improved physical and mental health, and a pathway to transition out of disadvantage. It also helps build the soft skills that can often be missing, such as self-confidence, self-awareness, and the ability to structure a day.

Bertonni designs and manufactures timeless and elegant porcelain products, beginning with a range of beautiful homewares. We use the highest quality Australian porcelain, and our products are designed and made to last many lifetimes. Our employees are involved in the many aspects of production. They are taught technical ceramics skills, as well as the art of craftsmanship.
