Perth- based tech company Secure2Go are conducting trials of their personnel and asset protection solutions with some of Australia’s largest mining companies.
The aims of the commercial trials are to utilise wearable and connected technology to increase protection and safety for employees and contractors as well as improve management and protection of assets and equipment.
Managing Director of Secure2Go, Wes Lawrence believes there will be many benefits of these trials. “Personnel and asset protection has become very important to business. The safety and wellbeing of staff is paramount to any organisation. This technology can give peace of mind regarding the safety and security of workers, particularly isolated, mobile and solo operators,” he said.
“The savings and efficiencies created by the protection of valuable physical assets can amount to millions of dollars which is highly desirable, especially during our current economic climate,” said Mr Lawrence.
