Red Piranha and Downerâs Defence Systems business have formed a partnership to develop an integrated holistic information security program to support Australiaâs critical infrastructure.
Red Piranha Limited (Red Piranha), Australiaâs first next-generation firewall developer, and Downer are pleased to announce they have entered into a technology partnership, combining Downerâs technology and security expertise with Red Piranhaâs Crystal EyeÂź advanced Unified Threat Management (UTM) solution.
Red Piranha is an Australian owned and operated manufacturer of leading-edge security products for small to medium businesses through to large multinationals. Red Piranhaâs flagship product, Crystal EyeÂź, is a powerful UTM solution enabling Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) as a service.
The partnership will see Downer and Red Piranha commence designing a âproof of conceptâ to be deployed into a pilot program later in the year.
Downer Executive General Manager, Practice Capability, Dan Murray, said, âWith cyber security a concern spanning all business sectors, companies recognise the importance of implementing sophisticated defence capabilities.â
