Perth Glory launch new fan engagement platform with WA scale up QuizJam

Hyundai A-League team Perth Glory has launched a new gamified fan engagement platform in conjunction with Perth based scale up company QuizJam.

The new Perth Glory QuizJam Board, which can be found here (, is a digital platform for Glory to engage with their fans, offering multiple types of trivia games, surveys, polling and other prize based competitions.

Launched in early February 2018, the platform is already seeing fantastic results, beyond that of traditional fan engagement and advertising tools.

The Perth Glory QuizJam Board boasts multiple game types including the ability for a fan to take on their favourite player in a “Beat the Expert” quiz. Fans need to beat the score of their favorite player in order to gain an entry into a prize draw or to unlock a special offer.

Due to the success of the Perth Glory QuizJam Board the club extended to facilitate fan votes for the QBE Man of the match Poll and National Storage Man of the Month Poll.

Perth Glory previously ran polls through a Google form on their site, but they can now send people to their fully white-labeled QuizJam board which has been embedded into their Perth Glory website. Through this, fans participate in the poll and then seamlessly continue to engage with a quiz, survey or competition to win prizes and take on their fellow fans to become the most knowledgeable/greatest Perth Glory fan.

The club adds new quiz content and competitions regularly in order to keep the fans engaged and has also activated the platform on game day to engage with the fans before, during and after the game.

Perth Glory also utilises the other key features that the QuizJam platform has to offer. QuizJam delivers hyper targeted and interactive advertising throughout the gaming experience which provides above industry average engagement rates with the latest Glory campaign, achieving a 30% CTR. The QuizJam platform’s ability to generate leads for membership, ticket and merchandise sales is also a major advantage for the club.

Given the high level of engagement with the platform to date amongst members and fans, Perth Glory believe it will soon become a revenue source for the club, through advertising sales and corporate partnerships.
