There have been a lot of new developments for Inhouse Group over the past year. An exciting rebrand, iinsights to Trendwise™, additions to both the board and team and a cool new Perth office. These elements facilitating the move from a tech start up to a successful business.

Our mission here at Inhouse Group is simple – to develop world-class technologies that make data-driven decision making easy and accessible to everyone.

We kicked off the year by adding two accomplished directors to work alongside Clinton House and Greg Riebe on the Inhouse Group board. Peter Rossdeutscher, a well known international tech entrepreneur with a background in big data and IoT and Chris Innis who has a background in corporate strategy, M&A, big data commercialization and publishing.

The inclusion of these directors and a number of key employees has put the company on the front foot.

“We have found our sweet spot, which has allowed us to communicate better to our target audience and deliver real value,” said Greg Riebe.

“It’s very refreshing to see a strong focus on key segments and have clarity on our value proposition.”

Our Head of Data, Danilo Dell’Agnello’s main role at Inhouse Group is to design and implement big data collection strategies and Machine Learning solutions for the Trendwise™ platform.

“We collect a few million observations per hour,” said Danilo.

“I use that data to provide tailored, easy to understand reporting and dashboard integration for our customers.”

Recently we have been exploring international sales and partnership opportunities. Our CEO, Clinton House has had a number of successful international trips that have generated a great deal of positive activity.

“After years of educating the market about our platform, we are seeing a rise in clients coming directly to us, having searched for an answer to their problems,” said Clinton.

Medium and large business operators are getting better at understanding the value of our customer analytics solution and realising that to remain competitive they must make data-driven decisions.

“The scope and scale we have now is incredible, but still just the tip of the iceberg of what we are capable of achieving.”

An exciting moment for the company was the rebrand from iinsights to Trendwise™ which took place in early March. Each team and board member played a part in selecting the name, logo and design of Trendwise™, reflecting our vibrant, collaborative team culture.

The owl as the logo was a clear choice, symbolising highly perceptive vision and providing valuable wisdom into how visitors behave across multiple locations. It is the perfect symbol for what we give business owners – oversight of visitor trends, insights into their customers’ needs and most importantly, a platform to optimise their business.

At the beginning of May we added two new Senior Business Development Managers to the team, supporting both existing and future Trendwise™ customers, in Brent Pearce and Avi Samson.

Brent joined our Perth team with over 10 years experience in leading sales teams across the Wesfarmers portfolio, in both B2C and B2B.

“The first month with Inhouse has been exciting to say the least. Getting an understanding of our diverse visitor analytics platform and how we can help our customers has been a highlight.” said Brent.

“Every customer we talk to unearths opportunity to provide a solution for them whether it be space activation, marketing attribution, people movement and ROI.”

Avi joined our Melbourne team with 16 years of experience in corporate technology business development and sales management for the likes of Microsoft and Oracle, among others.

“We have had a number of key clients come on board since May, which has echoed the important focus Inhouse Group has positioned on sales,” said Avi.

The big office move at the beginning of May placed the team in a workspace, which allows us to be more effective and deliver the best analytics to our customers. The office is now all set up and reflects our brand, culture and vision seamlessly.

One of our values here at Inhouse Group is; “There’s no idea too crazy. Who wants to live in a world where everything is predictable? Our strength lies in our creativity, so we dream big. That’s what gives us our edge.” This is shown in the world-class technology we provide our clients.

This year we have added a dashboard summary page and weekly email reporting, (both smart phone compatible) to our Trendwise solution. These additions, along with some brand new tiles enhance the customisable Trendwise™ dashboard.

“We have a number of new improvements and developments listed on the future technology pipeline,” said Lauri Jalonen, Head of Technology at Inhouse Group.

“We will be adding Bluetooth sniffing and iBeacon support into our next-generation sensor.”

All in all the 2015/2016 financial year has been one to remember.

We look forward to another exciting year ahead, kicking some goals, providing our clients with valuable data analytics and continuing to create a world where businesses connect with their visitors on a personal level.

We are certainly on the road to success and we can’t wait to show you all what that success looks like!
