Australian robotic technology company, Fastbrick Robotics Limited, is pleased to announce the appointment of a senior executive into the leadership team within the Company.
Mark Sheridan has been appointed as General Manager of Operations and will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Hadrian X program including management of the procurement, assembly and demonstration stages of the Hadrian X program. Mr. Sheridan will be based at Fastbrick’s headquarters in Perth.
Mr. Sheridan comes with a wealth of experience in operations and engineering. His most recent role was as General Manager/ Head of Projects at Cleanaway Limited (ASX:CWY), an Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) top 200 company and Australia’s leading recycling, waste management and industrial services company with over 200 sites nationally.
Prior to Cleanaway Mr. Sheridan worked at Holden Limited for fifteen years where he served as Engineering and Global Program Manager and as Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering Operations. As Director of Engineering Operations, he was responsible for the leadership of over 150 employees, a divisional budget of A$20 million and components with an annual purchased value of A$500 million.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from Coventry University and a Masters in Business Management from Warwick University.
The expanded and bolstered leadership team will support Fastbrick’s growth in CY18 and beyond and help further advance the Hadrian X program. The addition to the leadership team will allow Chief Technical Officer Mark Pivac the ability to initiate due diligence on further applications of Fastbrick’s Dynamic Stabilisation Technology and expand the Company’s Intellectual Property portfolio.
The appointment was made after an extensive nationwide search and vetting process with Mr Sheridan commencing with Fastbrick in February 2018.
