The PetCloud iOS App is Australia’s first pet sitting app developed with the help of RSPCA Vets.
Australian owned and founded sharing economy business PetCloud launches a new iOS App with the goal of reducing animal abandonment by connecting pet owners with pet carers in their local area.
Research shows pet owners find it difficult to book local, trusted and personalised pet care, particularly around peak holidays season, but with the PetCloud App pet owners have thousands of pet carers in their pocket.
PetCloud’s website launched in 2015 and in the last year alone holidaying pet owners booking pet care services through the website have helped to give back over $25,000 to their RSPCA partners.
Pet owners and carers are embracing giving back to their community through PetCloud with a percentage from every booking being donated to the RSPCA.
CEO and Founder of PetCloud Deb Morrison says she is excited the new Australian owned app will give pet owners piece of mind.
“Through our collaborating with our RSPCA Partners and Greencross, it is reflected throughout our App that we are raising awareness about the standards of pets in care”, she said.
“The new App will bring convenience to pet owners who lead an active lifestyle by matching their pet with a home and carer who is suitable to their needs.”
The app allows pet owners to browse profiles or post a job and instantly connect with insured, screened, pet loving minders then book and pay online with all bookings covered by insurance.
