As the work and family dynamics have changed over recent years, golf has seen a decline in participation but Get in The Hole Golf is looking to help reverse that trend. Founder, Mike Bullen, said the idea for the app came about after his golf group disbanded as his friends moved interstate and overseas.
“I spoke to a lot of golfers who said that while they wanted to play more golf, their biggest issue was not time, but the lack of available playing partners. Often, if they could find the right playing partner, they would find the time to play golf.” said Mike
The Get in The Hole Golf matching algorithm has been described as the “Tinder for Golf” based on how players are connected to games. Only Get in The Hole Golfers do it on the green.
