Hi! I'm Solai - Head of early stage at Tiger Financial Group. I started my career in insurance and qualified as an Actuary before taking the leap to work as an operator in a startup turned scaleup. During this period I was also making angel investments predominantly in cleantech and over the last couple of years transitioned to invest in private tech full time.
I have a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Actuarial Studies and Finance) where I was a co-op scholar (Actuarial Studies) at the University of New South Wales. I am also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary.
