Over 20 years of experience building technology, most notably in 2012 found his passion in business travel tech, co-founded Locomote.com, a travel management platform that transformed the way organisations managed their business travel.
Locomote.com employed over 120 staff and was built from the ground up, growing to become a global technology company. Leading the business, strategy, product and software teams. Creating an autonomous and scalable environment, focused on growing great people to set and achieve big goals and deliver results.
Travelport.com (NYSE: TVPT) acquired Locomote.com in 2016 and Ross exited the business in 2018 only to buy the company back in 2020 (with business partner and cousin David) and returned to build and once again redefine business travel of the future.
As a passionate supporter of start-ups and entrepreneurship, Ross plays a philanthropic role with Project Gen-Z and Sunrise Cambodia and was a founding member of The Entourage entrepreneurs' program in Australia, a current member of the Entrepreneurs Organization's (EO) and a mentor/coach to EO Accelerators. Satisfying a desire to share and help others grow and in turn, fulfil his thirst for personal growth and knowledge.
Collecting numerous accolades along the journey including; Top 5 Fastest-Growing Companies and Top Digital Innovator by Smart Company, Multiple Stevie Gold Trophy's, ACTE 3 Under 33, Hot30 Under 30, Tech23 Award and is a judge for the International Stevie Awards.
