| Elevator Pitch: | X-Centric is developing a field-portable, proprietary technology that rapidly analyzes samples, provides data on-site, in real-time, and generates analysis covering a large swath of the periodic table, including carbon. This is superior to current methods which are time-consuming, expensive, or limited in scope. Our technology facilitates emerging agricultural carbon markets which are helping farmers earn additional revenue by transitioning to more environmentally sustainable farming practices. This is beneficial as these practices help increase soil health, combat climate change, and increase soil productivity, water retention, nutrient retention, and nutrient release (aiding global food security). The data we generate can also inform soil management through practices such as fertilizer variable rate applications enabling our farmers to more efficiently use our planet’s limited resources.
