Scott Airway Management are a Brisbane based company creating medical devices that improve airway management. DR Paul Scott is the founder and an anaesthetist with a strong interest in medical education with a particular emphasis in crisis management. Dr Scott, owner of Paper Scalpel Rock trains health care professionals on the principles of optimising patient care in critical situations. His experience and an encountered problem, led him to design and develop the SAM Safety Seal providing a solution for difficult bag mask ventilation of the bearded patient and whilst reducing aerosolisation of patient secretions. Commercialising the SAM Safety Seal is Rachel Boden with over 20 years experience in healthcare, sales, marketing, manufacturing and product development.
