Welcome to the November issue of the Trendwise newsletter. What a full on but exciting month it has been in the Trendwise office. The dynamic, evolving and agile space we work in makes getting out of bed and coming into the office each day a breeze. Our technology continues to improve every single day and achieve extraordinary things for our clients. Just to remind everyone, there is only 59 days till Christmas. Can you believe that... We certainly cant! So, on that note, we hope you all have a ‘not too stressful’ November ahead of you.
Singapore continues to be an area of interest for Trendwise with Clinton having visited there a number of times already this year.
"Our presence in Singapore is important for supporting our valuable local clients, but also acts as a base for us and our clients to explore opportunities for Trendwise in the greater Southeast Asia region," said Clinton.
Clinton will be heading back to Singapore again on the 14th – 16th November and is looking forward to reconnecting with key clients.

The NEDC conference was a huge success for Brent and Ajay. They both met a large number of passionate Economic Development managers from around Australia who are very interested in the work we do in the smart communities space. You can view the full article below or head to our website.
We had two guest columns published online this month. The first was a Trendwise guest column from Andy Lamb, Founder/CEO of Atomic Sky. His attention-grabbing article, The Rise and Rise of Data and more Data, went into detail about the way society has evolved with the use of technology. The second was an article featured in the CCI Business Pulse magazine by our head of Communications, Ajay Jones. Cracking the Code goes into detail about how visitor analytics platforms can revolutionise the way businesses work, by providing complex data in an easy to understand format to assist them in making intelligent, data-driven business decisions.

Monitoring your marketing activity
Trendwise becomes incredibly valuable when you begin monitoring your data against your marketing activity. Whether you are doing print media ads, Facebook/Twitter posts or have added a new marketing sign out the front of your shop, you can begin to understand how many customers each campaign attracts and determine your return on investment.
A small café in Perth’s CBD, posted a coffee-and-cake special to its Facebook page on Sunday afternoon and monitored customer behaviour throughout the week. The resultant data showed a five per cent increase in overall customer numbers and recognised that thirty per cent of the café’s customers that week hadn’t been to the cafe before.
Understanding your visitor data and identifying exactly when, where and how people interact within your location, enables you better plan for the future and make intelligent business decisions based on real world data.
