Solar Analytics joins deX

Sydney: Australian solar energy software provider Solar Analytics has joined the deX - Decentralised Energy Exchange - as a technology integrator. This partnership will allow Solar Analytics’ renowned solar and energy management software to integrate with the deX marketplace. This step will provide our users with the capability to gain additional value as deX develops and new contracts and offers are made available.
deX will enable integration with many technology vendors – from those with controlling and monitoring systems through to integrators that can provide additional functionality and services such as transaction management, advanced forecasting, additional metering feeds, or advanced fleet management functionality.
Solar Analytics CEO Stefan Jarnason says “deX will be a significant step forward for consumers wishing to gain more value and control over energy in their home and within their community. We aim to empower our users to navigate the changing energy landscape, and deX is a key mechanism to enable the leap from passive energy consumer, to active solar energy owner and market participant.”
Solar Analytics provides performance monitoring and fault diagnosis of residential solar PV systems. The business currently provides monitoring for more than 16,000 solar households across Australia, and has recently entered the New Zealand and US markets.
