Inhouse Group CEO Clinton House has cemented his standing as one of Australia’s most innovative technology pioneers after accepting an ACS National Digital Disruptor Award in Sydney last week.
The Australian Computer Society named Mr House its ICT Consultant of the Year, recognition of the creativity and positive disruption of Inhouse Group’s real-world visitor analytics platform iinsights.
This accolade caps off a notable year for Mr House, who recently won the 2015 WA Benson Entrepreneur of the Year, WAiTTA/INCITE Entrepreneur of the Year and WA Innovator of the Year awards.
“It’s humbling and extremely gratifying to be recognised alongside some of the best and brightest minds in the Australian ICT sector,” Mr House said.
“Our vision is to enable smart retail and placemaking. At Inhouse Group we saw the potential of visitor analytics years ago and my dedicated team have been working hard on this for six years, so it’s validating to see the platform’s industry-spanning applications gaining national recognition.”
iinsights brings internet-style visitor analytics to the offline world, providing the hard data needed to understand exactly when, where and how people interact with brick-and-mortar locations.

The ICT Consultant of the Year Award focuses on creative and positive disruption within ICT. This highlights the consultative approach that Mr House and the team at Inhouse Group take to deliver their unique analytics solution to clients.
“Studies have shown that more than 50 per cent of businesses in Australia have been affected by some form of digital disruption,” said Andrew Johnson, CEO of ACS.
“Seeing this kind of innovation being developed locally by Clinton and Inhouse Group is a great example of the growing strength and maturity of the Australian ICT profession.”
The emphasis in the criteria is around the identification of an opportunity, the formulation of a solution using ICT skills, innovation in that solution and the successful delivery and outcomes achieved.
