Digital Matter has announced the availability of its new G100 GPS tracking device that combines both a 3G modem and an integrated Iridium satellite modem to enable vehicle and asset tracking no matter where the asset might be located. Particularly useful for fleets that need to monitor driver safety no matter where they might be operating.
The G100 offers a compact and integrated device with a single external Iridium antenna. It can be configured to send through regular position updates and will detect and notify on accident and rollover events. It can also be installed with a duress / panic button for lone worker applications.
