As part of its ongoing evolution Techboard is pleased to announce that it has changed the name of the ranking it has been running from September 2015 to "the Techboard Ranking".
"We are continuing to rank trending startups and young technology companies but we felt that the name "Startup Ranking" was alienating some older companies on Techboard and some younger ones that for one reason or another do not use the 'Startup' tag. We felt the name "the Techboard Ranking" was more inclusive. We want companies to be proud of a high ranking and celebrate it. It goes against what we are trying to achieve if companies don't engage because they don't consider their company to be a'startup" Techboard Co-founder Peter van Bruchem explained.
Since the beginning of 2017 Techboard has extended the coverage of its ranking from Western Australian Companies to Companies from New South Wales and Victoria. Techboard is currently seeking community Managers in Queensland and South Australia to help extend the coverage of the Techboard Ranking into those states.
Techboard's May ranking will be published on 31 May 2017.
